It is a … Read more This Louis XV style wing chair struck me as an exceptionally well crafted and beautifully upholstered chair. It is a vintage example, and not of the 18th century, but carrying all of the earmarks of 18th century construction and solidness, including pegs and morticed construction. The surface is a beautiful Venetian green with gilt trimming over molded stiles and aprons on cabriole legs. The fabric is in very nice condition and is carefully mounted to the frame with brass headed tacks. The fabric is an excellent choice being quite suitable to this style and in a silk blend damask. Included are two fine pillows in matching fabric. See less
