This set of 8 crescent-shaped dishes by the renowned Johnson Bros of England exudes classic British elegance. Originally designed as "bone dishes" to sit alongside a dinner plate, these versatile pieces are now highly sought after for attractive wall displays or for serving side salads, appetizers, or desserts. Their minimalist white aesthetic makes them easy to pair with any existing china pattern.
Crafted from "Royal Semi-Porcelain," these dishes feature a crisp white glaze and a delicate, scalloped "cloud" edge. The underside of each piece bears the authentic Johnson Bros England mark dating the pieces to the Edwardian period or shortly thereafter, C1900-1921.

Condition: As appropriate to their 100-125 years of previous enjoyment, the plates are in good (7) to fair (1) condition. No chips. Half of the pieces exhibit crazing and minor, age-related discoloration; the most discolored one also has a breakage repair.
