Artisan Hand-craft toy / object in solid wood, paint and marker.

Likely Mid 20th Century Virginia. Nicely hewn with wonderful colors - red, green, black and natural wood.

12" long by 6" wide by 7" tall. Wheels move on a solid axle, and the entire piece has a very appealing weight and heft to it.

And perfect patina - colors are bright, but wood grains show through, hanging is present, and it invites a hands-on experience.

As you might guess from our name, we respect and revere the clever red fox - a symbol of the Virginia Piedmont we call home.

This handsome model has been with us for a very long time; a wonderful find in an equestrian estate that we suspect a member of staff had made for a member of family.
