Gustav Klimt ( 1862 - 1918 ) was an Austrian Symbolist painter and of the most prominent members of The Vienna Secession Movement. Klimt was one of the most radical artists of The Twentieth century. Through his intensely decorative and erotic style, he pushed the boundaries of traditional artistic convention, paving the way for Modernists of the future. Artworks by Klimt are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

In 1912, Klimt painted a portrait of a nine year old girl, Mada Primavesi. The portrait is historically known as Klimt's only major work featuring a child. She was the daughter of Eugenia and Otto Primavesi, her parents were known for hosting decadent salon like gatherings and for their support of progressive Viennese art and design. The original painting " Portrait of Mada Primavesi " is held in the permanent collection of The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The rare out of print large lithograph print museum poster measures 24 1/4" W X 38" H. It is in excellent " like new " very clean condition consistent with age and light signs of handling.
