A lovely interpretation of classical jasperware, this lidded jar dates to the late 19th to early 20th century in a sage green matte ground with finely modeled white relief. The piece is richly detailed throughout with a domed lid adorned with acanthus scrollwork, a floral finial and a beaded rim.
Originally produced as a decorative tobacco or humidor jar, this piece would be perfect for display on your coffee table, console table or bookcase.
