Early 20th Century French Rococo Revival Six Arm Gilt Bronze and Crystal Chandelier With Porcelain Plaques

Rewired to US electrical standards, it takes six candelabra-sized lights, incandescent or LED on the arms, and two optional smaller lights inside the bottom bowl (lightbulbs are not included). This fixture requires a canopy and chain, which are not included. Three feet of wire at the top can be adjusted to the preferred height. One of the top crystal spikes is a different size (see images). Faint traces of white scratches on the porcelain plaques indicate they are decals applied on top of the glaze (see images). Decals began to be used on porcelain in the late 19th century. This technique gained popularity in the early 20th century. Entirely made of bronze, except for the pierced bottom bowl, which is gilt brass. Due to its delicate nature, white glove shipping is required. Please note that even with the most careful shipping arrangement, the crystals and other details can move, which can easily be fixed and put back in place once the chandelier is unpacked and placed to your room of choice.
