A Very Nice Antique Staffordshire Blue Transferware " Union" pattern Platter, 1850's
Made in the Staffordshire district of Stoke on Trent, England, Circa 1850's
Marked on the back with the English registry mark, and the pattern name, "UNION"
Maker is unknown.
A castle, lake, and pastoral scene in the centre.
Size: 17 1/2" wide, 13 3/4" deep, 1 3/4" tall and the edge.
Condition: Some staining, and utensil marks in the centre. Crazing, and a in the making stress crack (underglaze). Typical use and wear marks associated with age.
