A Very Nice Large Sized Antique Staffordshire White Ironstone Oval Platter, 1850's
Made by Jacob Furnival, at the Elder Road Pottery Works, Cobridge, Stoke-on-Trent, Staffordshire
Marked on the back, with the initials "J. F" for Jacob Furnival.
Large size oval platter, with floral embossed pattern on the edge.
Size: 18 3/4" wide, by 14", 2" tall.
Condition: Crazing throughout, no chips or cracks. Light staining, and utensil marks from age/use. Typical wear associated with age and use. Overall very good condition.
