The Butterfly Chair is one of the most iconic and reproduced designs of the 20th century. The simple design consists of a welded steel frame, and a fabric cover. The original design traces back to Argentina in 1938, designed by architects Antonio Bonet, Juan Kurchan and Jorge Ferrari Hardoy, often refered to as the BKF or Hardoy chair as a salute to the original designers. This specific chair has vintage black steel frame which is in great condition, but the cover has been replaced with a contemporary-made Algoma Net Company purple fabric cover. Overall, the chair is in great condition. It measures approximately 33.5 inches tall, 32 inches wide, and 30 inches deep. It has a seat height of 13 inches, a seat depth of 14 inches, a back height of 16 inches, and a seat width of 12 inches. See less
