Stylish Regency-inspired iron and steel scallop shell centerpiece gallery oval tray, guaranteed to elevate your tabletop or bar setup with its statement-making look-and-feel. The scallop shell gallery rail is flanked by a beaded rope trim underneath and capped off with braided rope trim; integrated shaped handles are nicely-sized and adorned with foliate and rosette accents. The tray rests on stylized curled endive-shaped feet. On the interior you will find an engraved design consisting of an oval gadroon-type perimeter, while the center design consists of stylized rosettes, feathery acanthus leaves and rinceaux, a decorative form consisting of a continuous wavy stemlike motif from which smaller leafy stems or groups of leaves branch. This beauty weighs 4 lbs. 8 oz. and measures as follows:

Overall: 19¼” x 11” x 4¼” W/D/H (width taken from handle-to-handle; height taken from handle top to bottom)
Interior: 16¼” x 10¾” x 2½” W/D/H

Colors is a dark bronzed hue with burnt umber undertones. Crafted from worked iron and steel in the manner of Maitland Smith and John-Richard. It hails from the late 20th-century and was crafted by an unknown maker. In excellent condition with age-appropriate wear. Wear includes random specks on the interior that are not very discernible but which I have tried to point out in closeup photos so please zoom in on all photos. This wear does not affect the overall beauty or integrity of the tray.
