This trophy is in the form of … Read more We are selling this really cool 19th century Sterling silver mounted hunting trophy. This trophy is in the form of a deer hoof, probably a Stag, and is mounted in sterling with English hallmarks. The plaque reads “Foret De Rambouillet Samedi 11 December 1886, Rambouille forest is outside of Paris, France. We can’t identify the silver maker as the marks appear to be double stamped with two different makers.

Condition: Some tarnishing to the silver with some spots on the slate base. Some wear to fur on hoof.
