The top features a central section that can lift and lock into place to hold a book or sheets of music. This central section has a surface area of 18 inches in width and 9.5 inches in height when in the upright position. The depth of the desk is 18 inches at each end and 15.5 inches at the center. The kidney shaped desk has a trestle base with a central stretcher. A wonderful piece of furniture to display your prized book or sheet music. The desk or stand has a knee clearance of 26.25 inches to the underside of the kidney shaped top. This piece is in very good vintage condition with some minor scuffs to the finish and the possibility of a varied patina to the pierced gallery.
