Featuring heavily carved oak frames with distinctive barley twist supports and upholstered seat and back. The backrest features intricate carvings, including two eagles flanking a central shield motif with the letters RB. Barley twist side supports, turned legs and cross stretchers. In good antique condition considering age and history. One chair has been broken across the top and repaired as shown in one photo from behind. It is missing a few pieces of the carved pattern as one can see when comparing the two chairs. In my opinion, it is not easily noticeable to the untrained eye. also, the bottom rails, legs, & a little bit of the frame are scuffed in places. See less
