Each piece … Read more A stunning set of twelve shallow French au gratin dishes, expertly crafted from Porcelaine à Feu in France. Each piece exemplifies the elegance and timeless craftsmanship for which French porcelain is celebrated.

These dishes are ideal for individual servings of gratin dishes and desserts such as crème brulee. They are decorated with large flowering bamboo branches in vibrant shades of orange, yellow, and blue. The asymmetrical design, with generous areas of pristine white left intentionally undecorated, is reminiscent of Japanese Kakiemon porcelain, creating a striking and refined aesthetic. The gilt rims add a touch of sophistication for elegant table presentation. The side handles, or “ears,” feature a raised, molded pattern to provide a secure and comfortable grip.

Marked on the underside with a stamped APILCO Porcelaine à Feu – FRANCE and impressed number 5 1/2.
