This delicate work features a red-pink undulating top that sits upon a cone-shaped base with flared edges. The bottom edge of the work is signed and dated.

Originally studying painting at the University of Minnesota, Cox went on to study printmaking and then glass at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. He has working primarily in glass since 1979. His works are held in the collections of the the Corning Museum of Glass, The Mobile Museum of Art, Mobile, Alabama, SAS Institute in Charlotte, North Carolina, among others. See less
