They were purchased 24 years ago from a private buyer. They were in pretty much ready to go condition. They were placed in a historic house from the 1800s in a home restoration. The chairs were not used. They remained in the same ready to go condition. The house was finally sold after 5 years of restoration and the contents were sold. These are a pair of Grosfeld House Deco style chairs. They each have an opposing arm. Most of these chairs have a shell-like channel tufting. These were button tufted instead. Fabric and buttons tight. The legs have some scuffs. The chair structure is super tight with springs. These are comfortable. I think the floral fabric can go with any decor. If considering a redo velvet works well. These are beautiful chairs. NO LABEL
