An exceptional Hollywood Regency headboard attributed to Mastercraft Furniture Co., showcasing the brand’s signature use of luxurious materials and refined neoclassical design.
This striking piece features a beautifully figured burlwood veneer, highlighted by rich natural grain patterns and framed with elegant brass linear inlays. The architectural double-crest silhouette is flanked by substantial brass-mounted posts topped with finials, adding both structure and visual drama. The combination of warm burlwood tones and aged brass detailing is emblematic of Mastercraft’s high-end production during the late 1960s and 1970s.
Though the original label is no longer present, the quality of craftsmanship, materials, and design strongly align with documented Mastercraft originals from this period. The headboard retains its original character and presents well, with natural age-appropriate patina to the brass and a beautifully preserved finish to the wood.
A standout piece ideal for a primary bedroom, luxury guest suite, or design-forward interior, this headboard pairs effortlessly with both classic and contemporary furnishings.
