C.1960's; Mid-Century, Provenance, Munchen, Germany, is this Rostfrei Manufactured, black bakelite handled and stainless steel (Inoxidable), letter opener. One can see the details makers, markings and logo, and material in several close-up images as indicated herein. The handle has simplified and refined smooth handle, with a coved area in handling as shown in a close-up image. Think, Mad-Men era offices/dens and/or libraries, whereupon a Gentleman had desk sets and all the accoutrements of a working man's desk with accessories, such as a Letter Opener. Minor patina to stainless, but a wet establish maker of Desk Accessories Made in Germany. with the crown log, denoting the manufacture.
