The Modernist exhibition poster print is published by LEM S.R.L. Milano, copyright Fundacio Joan Miro, Barcelona. Printed in Italy in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the centenary of Joan Miro's date of birth. The foundation that bears his name celebrated in 1993 a complete anthological exhibition in which it was possible to view some of the artist's most significant works.

The exhibition poster print features an artwork image originally created by Miro in 1946 titled " Dona i Ocells a Punta De Dia " ( Woman and Birds at Daybreak ).

Joan Miro ( 1893 - 1983 ) The Spanish born painter, sculptor, and ceramicist of Jewish descent is considered to be one of the most important Abstract artists of all time. Earning international acclaim, his work has been interpreted as Surrealism, and breaking through the boundaries of the traditional concepts of the composition of an aesthetic image. He had a significant influence on the late 20th Century Abstract Expressionist artists. The artworks of Miro are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

The rare out of print collector's framed exhibition poster print measures 27 3/4" W X 27 3/4" H X 1 3/8" D. It is custom framed with UV protective plexiglass in a Contemporary Modernist matte brushed finish dark charcoal gray metal frame molding, with an attached hanging wire on the reverse back side for easy wall installation.

It is in excellent " like new " condition. the poster print is in excellent " like new " very clean condition with very light signs of handling.
