among his best-known designs is the model 400, which lohmeyer created in 1960. Due to its relatively short production run of only about five years, it is now one of his most sought-after designs worldwide.


material and condition

the cherrywood frame has been fully restored by a certified specialist restorer. There are only a few minor imperfections in the woven seat, documented in the image, which do not affect its functionality.

the seat and back cushions were newly crafted in a specialized workshop and then upholstered in a high-quality wool bouclé in the color "nacre rosée" from the italian manufacturer dedar – a material whose subtle texture conveys both artisanal precision and a contemporary, understated elegance.
