A hand-blown Yalos Murano "Mono" Shell decorative centerpiece bowl in black and Mother of Pearl. The Vetro Artistico Murano in Murano, Italy, manufactured the bowl. The bowl has a grooved outer surface (just like a sea shell) and a smooth iridescent mother-of-pearl finish on the interior surface.
The bowl measures 12 inches in length, 6 1/4 inches in width, and stands just over 5 inches tall. It weighs 3 lbs.
The bowl has a Yalos Murano acid stamp on the underside of the base, along with an authentic Vetro Artistico Murano label adhered to the interior surface of the bowl.
In excellent condition, with only the slightest signs of previous use. There are no signs of wear that I can see, and no signs of any damage or defects. Truly a wonderful find.
