Late 19th century Royal Doulton, Lambeth, London stoneware jug. Molded, applied handle smartly decorated with faux screws & acanthus leaves. Around the body hounds give chase to a stag with hunter on horseback follwing beneath charming vignettes - men enjoying their ale, windmill & weeping willow tree. Beautifully shaded browns. Also called harvest jugs. Old rim chip.
