Stunning swirled glazes and design motif on a terracotta base. This folk art Ukranian pottery bowl is in excellent condition, with only minor wear on the interior, commensurate with age and use. Similar to Hungarian and Troyon pottery, and likely made in the mid 20th century, circa 1970s.
This piece features a mod motif in cream glaze with burnt orange, deep green, burnt umber, and butter yellow accent colors on a terracotta base.
It would be lovely in a collection of other folk art pottery or hung on the wall to add pattern and texture.
