the copal 702 is one of the most refined flip clocks ever produced by the japanese brand. Made in the 1970s, it stands out for its exceptional build quality: a single-piece anodized aluminum body — uncommon among copal models — paired with a real glass front instead of the usual plastic lens.
solid, minimal, and beautifully balanced, it embodies the clean industrial aesthetics of the decade.

this copal 702 is in rare excellent* condition.
it has been carefully cleaned, lubricated, and tested over time — the mechanism runs smoothly and keeps perfect time.

both internal lights turn on, but with a difference:
- the green light that illuminates the alarm time works properly;
- the light intended to illuminate the main digits switches on but provides no illumination, likely due to the age of the original neon bulb, which would benefit from replacement.

the real glass front is in excellent condition, with no notable marks.

the clock features a piezoelectric alarm with the classic loud buzzing sound and a snooze function (lasting approximately 3–5 minutes).
the alarm on/off switch is located on the back.
the presence of a seconds disc makes this model stand out among other flip clocks of its era.
