Antique Lithograph by Thomas Benecke — Sleighing in New York, 1855 — Framed
Charming antique lithograph by Thomas Benecke titled Sleighing in New York (1855). This example was likely framed in the early 1900s. The image has been slightly cropped from the original but still depicts the full scene. Overall framed size is 37” W x 28” H x 2” D.
The frame shows some expected wear, and the lithograph has a few marks consistent with age, yet it remains a wonderful and atmospheric example of Benecke’s winter New York imagery. Please excuse any highlights on the glass in the photos
