This vintage French mantle clock is designed in polished mahogany wood & dates from the early 20th century. Its bee hive shape mahogany case is accented with an oval marquetry panel below the clock face. The clock face is visible behind a hinged beveled glass door. It has a white enamel center surrounded by a gold ring dial with black Arabic numerals. The back of the clock contains a round “back door”. When opened, a key wind movement with chime is revealed. The movement is stamped
“Made in France” & displays a horse shoe hallmark with “PARIS” & two intertwined initials. I feel the clock is over wound & will require a cleaning & service to keep time. It is sold as is.
10” tall X 6 3/4” wide X 5 1/8”deep
