This vase was made by using a centuries-old metalwork and enameling technique. Thin metal wires were soldered onto its surface to create compartments (cloisons), which were filled with colored glass paste. The vase is fired and the surface is polished with a result that is a durable, glass-like finish with patterns of multiple colored flowers. The vase is in good condition for its vintage age. See less
