French figurative mantel clock, made between 1880 and 1900 and signed Blot et Drouard, Paris.
The sculpture depicts a classically inspired female figure, likely a bacchante or an allegory of Autumn, cast in patinated metal (spelter or bronze). The base is black marble, with a gilded brass bezel and a black dial with gilded Roman numerals protected by glass.
The movement is a mechanical spring mechanism with pendulum suspension, typical of French clocks of the period. The pendulum is present and attached; the movement is untested and sold as is. Key not included.
Good antique condition, wear consistent with age. The right festoon on the base is missing. The movement is untested. Sold as a decorative piece or for professional restoration. This piece has an attribution mark,
