The Space Age "Rodica" Lounge Chair and Ottoman designed by Mario Brunu in 1968 are vintage collectibles that exude futuristic glam. Made in Italy, these pieces showcase a unique blend of mid-century aesthetics and futuristic design elements. The chair slides on the separate base to the recline position. Good vintage conidition can be used as-is but would also look great recovered. The original white naugahyde upholstery has some wear and small holes on one of the sides, does not affect integrity or stability. The oversized mushroom ottoman is in good vintage condition with does show some age and there is some marks on the upholstery. The lounge chair and ottoman offer comfort and style, making them a sought-after addition for those looking to add a touch of vintage flair to their living space. Rare to find one of these chairs with the matching ottoman in the US.
