An avant-garde 1970s 18k pendant with a suspended brilliant-cut round diamond inside a cylinder of clear resin, framed in an 18k gold structure. Minimalist, architectural, and delightfully surreal, the design evokes both modernist sculpture and the experimental spirit of the 1970s. Light glides through every plane, refracting through the gem and the geometry around it.
We are calling the gemstone inside a diamond based upon similar pieces in the marketplace and the fact that an 18k gold structure would typically not be used for a gemstone of lesser quality. That said, we have no way of testing the stone since it is encased in resin. The stone is approximately .10 ct.
