The piece features a hand-painted Orientalist scene depicting an Arabian horseman on a white horse, set within a crackled-glaze panel that contrasts with the jar’s green matte body. The lid is finished with a gold-trimmed rim consistent with Amphora’s production during the Art Nouveau period. The base carries the appropriate RStK mark.

Turn-Teplitz (now Trnovany, Czech Republic) was a major center for Austrian and Bohemian art pottery, known for its richly detailed designs and hand-decorated surfaces.
