This particular seat design was only available until around the mid-1960s.

A functional children's chair. This piece is primarily of interest to collectors.

This icon of Scandinavian design is virtually unsurpassed in its simplicity and functionality. Like all pieces in Artek's L-Leg collection, this children's chair also features classic Aalto details such as the curved legs and the distinctive shape of the contoured backrest. The chair is made of birch in various finishes, from solid birch to birch veneer to molded birch plywood.
