Beautiful and unusual, vintage Murano hand blown slight iridescent surface with gold flecks accents Italian art glass decorative bowl. The piece is attributed to designer Ercole Barovier, for the Barovier e Toso company, circa 1940s. The bowl has a scissor cut rim, with gold leaf on the end curled tips created from the cutting and twisting. It is similar to the "Medusa" and "Frastagliati" designs. Would make a great display piece on any credenza or coffee table. Use it as a catchall, or candy dish. You will be able to showcase it as a decorative piece in any room. Mid-century era. Measures 7 1/4" across x 3 1/2" high.
