Crafted from beautiful dark flame birch, these sturdy antique chairs feature the iconic "Napoleonic hat" backs, named for their elegantly curved, scrolled crest rails. The central back splats are accented with finely carved, ebonized harps (or stylized palmettes), a nod to the classical motifs favored during the period.

These pieces have been meticulously and completely restored. The restoration includes a spruce up of the original finish,  full repadding and expert reupholstery in a luxurious, new, high-end cut velvet stripe fabric, finished with a classic double self-welt trim.
