author carlo scarpa (venice, 1906 – sendai, 1978) was an italian architect and designer with a deep connection to glassmaking. His long collaboration with the venini glassworks, which began in the 1920s, formed the core of his creative language: in the furnaces of murano, he experimented with colors, textures, and techniques that allowed him to develop a unique sensitivity to materials, light, and details. This artisanal approach became the hallmark of his architecture, evident in works such as the castelvecchio museum, the querini stampalia, and the brion tomb. Always attentive to detail, scarpa combined tradition and modernity with an almost calligraphic touch. His experience with venini remained the foundation of his design poetics.

condition the clock is in excellent condition, as can be seen from the attached photos. It shows very slight and negligible signs of wear, visible in the photos. The clock is in working order but clearly needs to be checked. Please evaluate based on the attached photos.
