this exquisite service once belonged to a distinguished french family, including one of the engineers who collaborated with gustave eiffel on the construction of the eiffel tower – a remarkable provenance that ties this collection to one of france’s greatest feats of art and engineering.
each piece bears the hallmark of haviland’s exceptional craftsmanship: the translucence of fine limoges porcelain, the lightness of its hand-painted floral garlands, and the brilliance of gold accents.
