Surrounding the clock face are exquisite Sevres-style porcelain panels, hand-painted with cherubic scenes and floral garlands set against a turquoise blue ground — a hallmark of Parisian craftsmanship from the mid to late 19th century The base is beautifully shaped with scrolling supports and foliate ornamentation, resting on toupie feet This combination of gilded bronze and fine porcelain creates a dazzling centrepiece ideal for a mantel, console, or commode.
