This elegant clock features a beautifully proportioned oak case with geometric panelling, decorative mouldings, and subtle carved details characteristic of the Arts & Crafts movement. The brass dial is richly engraved and signed Maple London, with Roman numerals, ornate pierced hands, and a subsidiary seconds dial. The clock retains its original 8-day weight-driven movement, designed to strike on the hour. Inside the case are service notes documenting its care over the years — including professional servicing in 2006 and again in 2017 (costing £700) — confirming its ongoing maintenance and reliability. Everything appears to be in good working order, and a fresh service can be arranged prior to dispatch for a small additional fee.
