This chair was made in England in the early 18th century.
It is decorated with equisite Chinoiserie detail - please take a look at all our photographs to see the carefully painted buildings and people.
The design of the chair itself is traditional with beautifully shaped front legs and bowed at the back. We've had the seat reupholstered with a rich, cream linen.
A decorative and practical chair, for a hallway, study or bedroom. It works very well with an antique desk.
