This early edition battery wall clock model no. 31/1012 from the 'Electora' line was produced by the quality manufacturer Junghans in West-Germany and was launched in 1956.
It features a battery spring-wound movement which was new at the time: "A 7-jewel pin lever movement serves as a mechanical clock movement. Its spring-wind is in power connection with the centre wheel over a switch wheel pawl." (Quote from the Junghans Electora Battery Clocks Catalogue, No. 81 - 1956)
The elegant wall clock features an ivory color earthenware plate with gilt line, gilt bezel, brown figures and gilt hands. It comes with a domed hinged glass dial cover. This piece has an attribution mark,
