This fine Chinese famille rose porcelain bowl dates to the late Republic / early PRC period, circa 1930–1950, and features a beautifully executed hand-painted lotus and scroll motif in soft pastel enamels. The interior is finished in a rich turquoise glaze, a classic decorative pairing highly associated with early 20th-century export wares.
The base bears a faint printed “Made in China” mark, consistent with mid-century export requirements and confirming the piece’s period of manufacture. A charming and well-preserved example of Chinese fencai enamel decoration, ideal for collectors or as a refined decorative accent.
