An antique collection of wooden hand carved numbers. They are primitive and they are chunky and they might have come out of a museum. We are thinking the small numbering you see is an inventory number that a museum might keep? The dealer we acquired them from informed us they came out of the northeast and that they were used to stamp sheep, though no remnant paint is found on them. Whatever they were intended for they are a stupendous find. They are unique and rare and we are proud to present and make them available to you.
