In this era glass manufacturers used magnesium to clarify glass, but over time the glass reacts to the rays of the sun and turns it purple. This vase has a light touch of purple which dates it to the turn of the century. It is a beautiful, heavy fluted vase that is over a hundred years old. It would be so beautiful holding a bunch of flowers. See less
