It was appraised in 1998 … Read more I inherited this set of Blue Danube Masoct China, made in Japan, from my grandmother. It was appraised in 1998 and because of the colors that were used on it, the appraiser estimated that it may be a very early set, and could date back to the 1930's or 1940's. There are some pieces missing from the set that were damaged moving from Alaska back to the lower 48, but I still have 62 pieces that are in very good condition that I'd like to sell. Included are:

3 - 10 1/4" dinner plates, 7 - 8" plates, 2 - 6 1/2" bread and better plates
7 - 8" bowls, 6- 6" bowls, 11 - 5 1/4" bowls
6 - tea cups 2 3/4" tall x 3 1/4" wide and 6 - saucers 4 1/4"
1 - lg tea cup 3" tall x 3 3/4"
2 - demitasse cups 2 1/4" x2 1/2"
4 - clam shell bowls 6 1/2" long x 5 3/4" wide
4 - egg cups 3 3/4" tall x 2 1/2" wide
2 - 1 salt and 1 pepper shakers - each 5 1/4" tall x 4" wide
