This is a wonderful, large lotus leaf free form design bowl made from anodized aluminum with a brass finish which has an unattached stand to hold and display it. The creases, folds and texture of the leaf are nicely executed on the inside of the bowl while the outside is smooth. The stand has a sweet stamped design on the foot.
The underside is marked with the Harvin stamp and Lotus Large which are both hard to read and it has the inventory number #3514. Harvin was acquired by Virginia Metalcrafters in 1956 and Virginia Metalcrafters went out of business in 2006. The bowl came to me with the pink and red balls I show in the last photos and I will include them if you would like. The widest measurements are 15 inches by 13 inches and 6 inches high.
