If you love to sew you’ll love this wicker, heart shaped sewing stand. Made by Heywood Wakefield in the 1890s. (No maker’s label.) Has two levels. The top level storage is a basket with a hinged, domed lid. The bottom shelf is open. Has braiding and scalloped wicker around the edges and curlicue wicker embellishments. Light weight and easy to carry.
Could be used for storing toiletries and other accessories. In excellent condition with period wear with a few tiny wicker pieces missing, but no serious damage or repairs.
