Unique brass tray, hand worked, centered by the Star Of David or Magen David. The symbolism of eggs and serpents with birdlike men may stem from the time of Jews settling in Egypt/ Alexandria around the third century B.C., relating to the story of Adam and Eve.
The tray is in great condition, no wear spots or holes, just a lot of patina. It is just over 13" in diameter. The back retains an antique store or museum sticker, of early 20th century origins.
Soda can and stand are for scale only and not included in sale.
