They are solid heavy and have obtained a gorgeous amount of verdigris under the old paint. We like to leave things as found but you can venture to remove the paint if you so desire.

So what can these be used for besides their already beautiful presence? We are thinking candle holders, or bases to put a statue on or such. They are pretty magnificent.

Oh, and note that from the inside you can see the floral design that, we believe, should be seen on the outside if the paint was to be removed.
