This distinctive silver plate stand features a tree motif adorned with birds and is complemented by an Austrian painted glass bowl.
The Victorian-era metal stand is expertly cast in the form of a tree with extending branches designed to support the glass bowl. Two doves are positioned beneath the canopy, adding further charm to the piece. Over time, the silver finish has been polished away, revealing the underlying metal.
The molded glass bowl displays a ruffled edge and is decorated with gilt and colored enamel floral designs on its upper surface. Molded bumps follow linear patterns along the top, while the base glass color is white, overlaid with a layer of pink. The bowl’s base is flat and retains a polished pontil mark.
Although the bowl and stand are paired together, they are not originally matched; the round inset at the top of the stand does not perfectly align with the bowl. Despite this, the bowl remains highly decorative.
A hallmark on the base of the stand reads "AURORA S.P. MFG. CO. WARRANTED TRIPLE PLATE," accompanied by a production number, 724. The glass bowl is stamped "Austria" in gilt on its base.

The set is a marriage. The stand is missing the silver but has no cracks, dents, breaks, or repairs. The bowl has no cracks, breaks or chips, and the only significant wear is to the gilding on the leaves.
