Originating in the Middle East, the hamsa is believed to bring good fortune and provide protection from the evil eye. The enamel work in this pendant has been beautifully done in a vibrant blue, translucent enough for the textured gold to shine through from behind it. A pool of blue enamel was built up on the bail with so much depth that it presents as a jewel and appears to glow. The line of 15 diamonds in a shared prong setting make a horse-shoe shape along the bottom and add a striking contrast of white against the blue. This powerful talisman looks beautiful on a chain and offers protection alongside its beauty.
